Biography

Travis Fimmel was born July 15, 1979, 40 kilometres outside of Echuca, Victoria, Australia.  This stunning Aussie is 6'0 tall and possesses dark blonde hair with blue-green eyes.  Travis left home at 17 and moved to Melbourne when he was 18.  He travelled to London at the age of 19, where he remained for two years.  After a two-year tour of Asia and Europe, he arrived in Los Angeles, eager for a change of scenery.  He was down to his last few dollars, so he did what anyone with his good looks would do.  Travis strode barefoot into L.A. Models, where booker Paul Nelson recognized instantly that Travis was a hot commodity.  The agency helped Travis out with money, and assisted him with a place to stay.  They believed in Travis from the very beginning.

Before that, the modelling seed had already been planted when, in 1998, he was discovered at a Melbourne gym.  He was a bit embarrassed about it, not seeing himself as being a star or a beautiful creature that the world would crave later on.  in the spring of 2002, Travis became the new CK cover boy.  And he's the second model to be offered a six-figure contract with Calvin.  (Trivia:  Kate Moss was the first).  He was also featured in a video with Jennifer Lopez.

Besides modelling, Travis has now turned to acting.  He is playing the role of Tarzan for the TV Series Tarzan show.

He calls Los Angeles, California home.  His agency is New York Model Management.
