CHAPTER ONE
Dues will be paid by June 1st each year.

The Rolling Hills Hunt Club will conduct an annual meeting within 30 days of June 1st each year.  Notification will be sent to each member at that member?s last known address at least twenty-one (21) days prior to the annual meeting.

New members must be voted in the club by a two thirds (2/3) majority of the clubs general membership present at the first general membership meeting after the application for membership has been received by a club officer.  The applicant may be granted probationary membership status by a majority vote of the Board of Directors until such time as the next membership meeting is conducted.

Members may have their membership revoked for non-compliance with these by-laws.  Non-compliance is defined with the rules and policies of this hunting club, or conduct not compatible with the objectives of this organization.

A unanimous vote by the board of directors may suspend and individuals membership privileges.  A vote of the general membership must be scheduled within ten (10) days to affirm or reject the board of directors? decision.  A two-thirds (2/3)-majority vote of the general membership will result in the expulsion of the member in question.  Should the general membership fail to reach a two-thirds (2/3) majority, the member in question would be fully reinstated and the issue considered closed.  The hunting club would refund the amount of the member's dues that the general membership feels is appropriate regardless of the outcome of the vote.

The by-laws may be amended at the annual meeting by a two-thirds (2/3)-majority approval of the general membership present.  The board of directors may unanimously agree to suspend a section of the by-laws under extra-ordinary circumstances.  Should this occur the club President or designated officer must show good cause for such action and have this action affirmed by two thirds (2/3) majority of the general membership present at a meeting scheduled within forty-five (45) days of the board of directors vote to suspend the rule.

Any member that drops out of the hunting club must show good cause for such action and be approved for membership reinstatement by a unanimous vote of the board of directors or must wait three (3) years to re-apply for membership.

Fines of not more than fifty ($50) may be assessed for violation of these by-laws or violations of the hunting clubs rules and procedures.  Fines assessed must be paid before the members next day of hunting.  The hunt master may assess such fines subject to review and approval of a majority of the board of directors.  All fines assessed by others other members authorized to do so, must as well be approved by a majority vote of the board of directors.  A member may appeal a fine to the general membership at a regularly scheduled general membership meeting.  A two-thirds (2/3)-majority vote of members present is necessary to uphold the fine.

CHAPTER TWO
Visitors will be allowed to hunt with a member for a fee to be established by the general membership at the annual meeting.  This fee may be waived by the hunt master or by a majority vote of the board of directors for an organized hunt only.

Once a visitor hunts three times with the club, they must apply to join the club and be accepted as a member prior to any further hunting by the visitor the rest of the year on club property.

The hunt master or his designee will have exclusive authority to determine when, where, how and if an organized hunt will be conducted.  The hunt master will have the authority to issue instructions for the hunt and make final resolution of any disputes that occur during or after a hunt.

Any hunter or non-hunter participating in hunting activities will consume no alcoholic beverages until after hunting for the day has concluded.

No DRUGS allowed.

CHAPTER THREE
Election of officers shall be conducted each year at the annual meeting.

The hunt club's board of directors shall consist of the President, Vice President and Secretary.  The hunt master shall be a non-voting ex-officio member of the board.  The hunt master shall be appointed by the club President and approved by a simple majority of members present at the annual meeting.

The President's duties shall include, but are not limited to: Acting as the chief executive officer of the hunting club, conducting business such as procurement of land from property owners, presiding over and directing activities at all club functions.  The President may also appoint a treasurer and any chairman deemed necessary during the course of the year.

The Vice President's duties shall be to act as the chief executive officer in the absence of the President.  The Vice President shall be responsible for obtaining voluntary chairman for any project approved by the board of directors or general membership and providing oversight of said projects.

The Secretary's duties shall consist of acting as the chief executive officer in the absence of the President and Vice President.  The secretary shall maintain current by-laws, a current roster of members and provide for accurate record keeping of club meetings.  The Secretary shall further be responsible for providing notification to the general membership of the annual meeting in the manner described by these by-laws.

CHAPTER FOUR
The board of directors during the course of each fiscal year may make policy regulations, as they become necessary to conduct the affairs of the club in a safe, efficient and business like manner.  Any such regulation may be overturned by a two-thirds (2/3) majority of the clubs general membership present.

General policies, rules and regulations (other than by-laws) shall be established, as they become necessary by a two-thirds (2/3) majority of the clubs general membership present.  These policies, rules and regulations should be established as early as possible in each fiscal year.  Such policies, rules and regulation changes must be submitted to each member of the hunting club by mail or posted at the clubhouse at least ten (10) days prior to becoming effective.  A complete set of policies, rules and regulations must be kept at the clubhouse accessible to all members.  Each member shall be furnished with a complete set of by-laws and a membership roster each year prior to September one (1).
