1ST APPEARANCE: G.I.JOE: THE MOVIE
CHUCKLES was a silent type who was part of the Rawhides, a group of recruits that were pushed through training to bolster the Joes depleted ranks at the begining of their battle with COBRA-LA. CHUCKLES was trained by Beach-Head to use the weapons on a Havok. During one excersize, Chuckles threw a rocket at a target instead of using a rocket launcher.
When the Rawhides tried to jumpstart a Tomahawk to join the effort to protect the BET, CHUCKLES got on the roof of the chopper and spun the blades to get it started. He got stuck on the top and had to stay there during the battle. When the Tomahawk crashed, he helped everyone get out.
CHUCKLES was part of the group that rescued the captive Joes and invaded COBRA-LA. During the fight, he fought off two huge square-shaped monsters with a pistol and a bazooka. He survived the destruction of COBRA-LA and is still a Joe today.
(Note: CHUCKLES does not speak in the movie. He does speak in the comics. No explaintion is given for his silence in the movie. He is featured in a 4-part story arc in the Devils Due series GIJoe: Frontline. He dies in issue 25 of the main GIjoe series by Devils Due.)
