ZARBON was FRIEZA'S right-hand man during the latter's trip to NAMEK. He was sent by FRIEZA to capture VEGETA. He found the Sayien warrior and use his powers to transform into a large beast and beat him nearly to death. He came back to gloat about his triumph but FRIEZA demanded proof. He went out again and captured VEGETA. He had the Sayien placed in sickbay so he could live long enough to be asked where he hid one of the DRAGONBALLS.
VEGETA awoke and stole all of FRIEZA'S DRAGONBALLS. ZARBON was ordered to go after him. ZARBON found VEGETA as he was about to take a DRAGONBALL from BULMA and KRILLEN. The two fought a rematch. ZARBON transformed again but VEGETA revealed he could not be beaten by the same way twice. He then savagely beat ZARBON to death and sent him screaming into a large body of water. ZARBON'S body as never been recovered.
