Katrina hits out at NUTS
(see story below)

Sunday Service
No, this not my normal sunday afternoon activity but as a head of maintenance I am also on call 24/7. That includes restoring the
electrical service on Sunday afternoon to missionary housing.
No rest for those on call!

NUTS, Niamey Universal  Tournament of Softball.
This annual even organised by the American recreation centre in Niamey took place the second weekend in October.
Sahel Academy's team "Sahel Suns" in which Katrina is a player, were
runners up to a team from Burkina Faso this year.
Well done Sahel Suns!

Ophthalmology Suite
In September thanks to the France SIM director Alain Soudrain, we received an Ophthalmology suite. This arrived in pieces in 4 large wooden crates weighing approx 400 kgs.
It was Neville's job to try and figure out how all the pieces were to fit together. This task was made a littler easier as we were supplied with a photocopy of the original sale brochure and a vague circuit diagram. After several days we had this unit in working order. This suite will be a great aid to our eye work at Bembéréké.
