Construction: One piece heavy lay up GRP hull, one piece GRP deck, cockpit and superstructure. Double gel coated for durability. Glassed in interior GRP accommodation module moulding or strength and utility. High strength non intrusive GRP ring bulkhead for mast foot support. Marine ply bulkheads, teak faced where appropriate. Hull and deck joined with internal GRP lamination and stainless steel screws, tilled and sealed for integrity. Full length solid teak rubrail. All resins and materials meet or exceed Lloyds specification.
Ballast: Lead ingots encapsulated in resin bonded shot.
Deck Features: Self-draining foredeck anchor well locker with hinged flush hatch cover. Large stern well locker with hatch cover. In outboard enqine versions the stern well is equipped with a special bonded in moulding to accept the outboard engine.
Self draining aft cockpit with port and starboard seats containing separate moulded in cockpit lockers. Huge starboard side wet locker located behind the heads compartment and accessible via large cockpit seat hatch.
Forehatch in aluminium framed tinted perspex for easy access. Companion-wav hatch in double skinned GRP construction sliding into garage for full weather protection. Anti-splash combing to coachroof. Two piece tinted perspex washboards with teak trim bars. Tinted perspex windows in anodised aluminium frames. All deck/cockpit lockers fitted with stainless/chrome catches.
Deck Fittings/Equipment: Stainless steel pulpit and two piece pushpit with centre access. Full 24" stanchions and double lifelines. Aluminium foredeck mooring cleat, pair aluminium mooring cleats on aft quarter deck. Twin bow and stern fairleads in aluminium. Stainless steel stemhead with bow roller. Aluminium water filler fitted between stemhead and anchor locker. Two iroko handrails to coachroof. 5 foot long port and starboard genoa sheet tracks with adjustable sliders and swivelling blocks. Mainsheet track with adjustable main sheet traveller and stops. Stainless steel mast plate and aluminum bracket to accept mast foot. 8 kg Brittany anchor with 3 fathoms of 1/4" chain and 15 fathoms of warp. One 10 metre one and one 12 metre mooring warp. Two fenders. Two genoa sheet winches with cleats.
Spars and Rigging: Anodised aluminium alloy mast (with spreaders) and boom, mast stepped on hinged heel. Standing rigging in 4mm wire rope comprises forestay, backstay with bridle, capstay and twin lower shrouds. 5mm forestay fitted if roller reefing is specified. Stainless steel rigging screws. Spreaders fitted signal halyard points. Mast fitted with jib, main and spinnaker halyards and topping lift. Boom fitted with outhaul and twin reefing pennants. Kicking strap and mainsheet tackle supplied.
Sails: Mainsail in 6oz polyester with single set slab reefing points. Hank-on working jib in 7oz polyester. 9 inch wire strop for jib. 2 x 9 metre jib sheets.
Steering: Skeg hung rudder fitted stainless steel stock, glands and gudgeon operated via aluminium lifting tiller fitting and laminated teak tiller arm.
Interior: Designed in three-berth arrangement. GRP white gel
coated interior accomodation module moulding providing raised bunks, fitted
cave lockers and plywood lids. Three berths in open plan with large luxurious
double berth forward and one portside quarter berth. A special feature
is the convertible day/night cabin arrangement whereby the double berth
converts quickly into comfortable day seating and saloon table. The day
cabin provides plush all round soft cushioning to seat and back sufficient
for 6-8 persons. Deep fiddled shelf space above port and starboard seat
backs and locker space behind.
Hanging locker forward and separate starboard heads compartment adjacent
to the companion way. Interior trim in luxury teak and soft pile lining
for standards of comfort and appearance. Colour co-ordinated heavy duty
non absorbent carpet to cabin sole.
Electrical: Single 70 aph marine battery with isolator switch complete with ships supply cable terminating in 9-way fused switch panel located in cabin. Comprehensive wiring loom built in. Fore and aft nav lights and steaming light.
Other Equipment: Manually operated through deck bilge pump installed in cockpit locker fed from.strum box in bilge.
Engine: Two engine options are available as extras:
a. inboard 10 h.p. Yanmar diesel below cockpit floor.
b. outboard G h.p. Honda four-stroke fitted in enclosed stern well.
Interior Fittings: Flushing toilet in separate starboard compartment.
Stainless steel wash basin galley combined to port side adjacent to
companion way bridging quarter berth, fed from 11 gallon flexible bow tank
via foot pump to swivelling water faucet, slides away over quarter berth
when not in use. Self draining sink outlet. Cup and plate racks.
