| Seeing the Bouncing SouLs live is an amazing experience. The SouLs put on a great show and the crowd always goes nuts. The energy these guys put into every preformance makes each show worthwhile and unique. Greg usually has his cane or something to play around with and Bryan does the koolest backwards flip thing with his bass. Pete usually says funny stuff in between songs and Mike seems pretty quiet back there but he's a master at those drums! Everyone chants OLE! after their set begging for an oncor. And if the nite is rite they will come back on and make everyone happy! Anyone who has been to a Souls show knows what I am talking about. I could never pick a best SouLs show because each time something has happened or they have played a special song to make me remember the night like no other. Once a guy told me the Bouncing Souls didn't appeal to him because they didn't have a good stage presence. It has since been discovered that this dude never even saw the souls live. No one can honestly make an accusation like that and not feel the wrath of my fist. HA! |

| The Bouncing SouLs came together offically as a band in 1987 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. They all have survived the last 16 years together with only one major line up change in 99'. It was then that Mike took Shal's place on drums. The Souls blend a mixture all the four guys personal tastes and it shines through their music. They often refer to fun things in their songs such as 80's movies, YooHoo, BMX-ing, Soccer, Argyle, and other old school favorites. They also decorate their albums and shirts with Bryan's unique artwork. Oh yeah and their cover songs are simply amazing!!!! |
