Conference Programme

 

The Conference will begin with registration on Thursday afternoon. It will end with a “farewell” session on Monday morning.

 

The official language of the Conference is English. In cases of necessity we shall make informal translation arrangements available.

 

The following schedule of speakers may be subject to changes according to circumstances.

 

Admission is free for residents of Hydra. Feel free to walk in and join us.

 

THURSDAY AFTERNOON 13 OCTOBER 2.00pm to 5.00pm

 

REGISTRATION: Registration is an informal affair. This will take place from 1.00pm onwards at the MELINA MERCOURI HALL at the harbourside. This is a large grey stone building, the last building on the right-hand side of the harbour as you walk towards the sea.

[This talk has been cancelled. Stelios Vamvakaris will not come to Hydra because, despite 12 months of protest, the Mayor of Hydra has still not paid the money which is owed for last year’s concert.]

Weather permitting, there will be a musical jam session at one of the cafes on the harbourside.

Farewell gathering at one of the cafes on the harbourside.
