Wasted Space

Wasted Space

I try so hard
But I always fail
Stamped upon my forehead
A big
“F”
I couldn’t grasp
The feeling
The emotion
Of how you didn’t care
Overwhelmed
Ache
Like the tooth
That won’t go away
Stays until it’s mended
I can’t deal
I can’t be fixed
How you rolled your eyes
And started to ramble
About yourself
And people look up to you
And down on me
A memory bounces back
How you said
You would be there for me
Good or bad
How I tell you hidden words
And you go
Behind me
And talk of the unspoken
Dare to reach the clouds
And break our bond
All I can do now
Sit sadly
And write a poem
