A Robot Or A Man?

They could not think for themselves or manifest the power of God but only spewed out mechanically doctrines or ideas spewed out by others. It was obvious they were not like Jesus who was a true man who was at a home with evil and wicked Pharisees and the poor, needy and sick common man. Jesus was self-sufficient as a result of prayer and the Spirit of the Lord to handle any situation that came His way including dealing with tough questions posed to him by His antagonists. And they sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, "Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of God in truth; nor do You care about anyone, for You do not regard the person of men. I, dear sir, will have you to know that I am, indeed, a free and independent thinker. I couldn't agree with you more on that.
And the list goes on. I have rejected them all. The closest beliefs to the truth out there that I found was with the Baptists, and even they fall short of the whole truth. I have now walked out on them too. And you are telling me that I can't think for myself?
I grew up with atheists who are very angry with me for even believing there is a God. They told me all my life right from childhood, there is no God. But I believed regardless of what I was taught. I think for myself. That goes for you and your thoughts too. I don't have to think like you.
The verse that you gave here is the very bottom line for me and I don't think you even know what that verse really means. As a grace believer I have come to stand fast on that verse guarding my liberty as well, for it has now become my favorite Bible verse. I have true grace and true freedom and like I never ever had it before.
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1
And what about you? Are you the robot or are you following some church denomination or some Pastor? I am not of any denomination. There are no denominations around here that I would care to join.
