I would -highly recommend- this book for those who are looking to get a good book on music theory fundamentals. Very clearly written and well organized, I would say it does an excellent job of covering all aspects of basic music theory. It also comes with a handy section at the back of the book where you can find English translations of many Italian, French and German words commonly used in performance directions.
