 Experiences
o Computer Science Tripos Group Project and Personal Project
My CST Part IB Group Project was building a Lottery Server.  Coding was done in Java.  I was the chief programmer.
My CST Part II Personal Project was writing "Visual Manipulation Packages for the CVIeditor".  CVIeditor is a smart image editor based on a stable image segmentation scheme developed in AT&T Laboratories Cambridge.  My work was to create a Panorama Mosaicing Tool, a Colour Corona Correction Tool and a Local Morphing Tool for the CVIeditor.
o Cambridge University Scientific Society Membership Secretary
I was elected Membership Secretary on the Executive Committee of the CU Scientific Society as a first year student, and re-elected in the second year and third year.  I am in charge of all the electronic resources and the database of the whole society.
o Voluntary Demonstrator for the National Science Week in Cambridge
I offered to be a voluntary demonstrator for the experiment 'Mini Explosion' for the National Science Week in Cambridge held on 18 March 2000, my birthday, which involved working with children and getting them to understand experimental results.
o Monitor of Class
I was the monitor of class for various classes from Junior Three (1994) until First Year in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (1999), i.e. for five years running.
o Secondary School Magazine
I was Co-Editor of PORTRAIT, the School Magazine of my Secondary School, and author of some of the articles.
