| Chapter 4 - The party to your heart |
| In the last chapter David had just met with a girl who also like fish-balls as much as he does but she has come from Brazil. Everyone had the ball-dresses and suits ready for tonight's party because their Uncle's baby boy was 100 days old. The party is to be held later tonight in a hotel ballroom. But Auntie has told everyone to go and check that everything is ok with the preparations. One hour before the party is due to be starting all the close relatives and friends start to arrive. David: I'm going to find something to eat. I'm bored and starving Tommy: I'm coming with you Zoe: David, Don't take the food off the table and leave holes in the middle of the plates or else Mum will kill you if the guests don't have enought to eat and it's your fault David: Yeh, whatever Vicki: Zoe! Zoe: Wow. So glad you could make it here. I was getting so bored. |
| Alec: Vicki, You look great Vicki: Alec, I thought everyone could invite a friend? Where's your friend...em...what's his name? Zoe: You mean Alex? He said he had a party going on tonight as well Alex: Alec! Didn't know you was here? Vicki: Alex is looking good as well. Better than you Alec haha Alec: Alex? I thought you said you had to go to a party? Alex: This is the party. My Dad said that one of his police colleagues was having a 100th day birthday party for his new born son Alec: Yes, Our Uncle. Zoe: You're Dad's a policeman as well? Alex: Yes. It was his childhood-dream or something Vicki: I was so scared of getting bored tonight. But seen as all four of us are here... Zoe: Tommy, You found some food? Where's David? Tommy: He saw a girl and went off to her and left me on my own. Zoe: A girl? Vicki: Your brother quicker than you! Zoe: Shut Up! Mum: Zoe? Zoe: Coming. See you all in a bit. Zoe leaves them talking whilst she goes to see what her mother wants. Zoe: What's wrong? Mum: Are you planning on ever getting changed tonight? Zoe: Not yet. Not everyone's here yet Anyway the air conditioning is freezing. I'm not wearing a dress in here. I'll get a cold. Mum: Stop being paranoid about how your going to look! Auntie: Zoe you looked great when you tried it on this morning. Go On be a good girl Zoe: I..I was going to leave the best bit for the performing ma. I'll stay in this. It looks ok! Mum: Zoe.. Auntie: Zoe go and get changed into something more ball like then. Don't get changed into the dress just yet until the performance. Zoe: Thanks Auntie (smiling very happily at her convincing with the two adults) Auntie: Get you Alec to get changed as well. David: Hello girlfriend (jokingly) Tifa: Hello boyfriend:-P Tifa's Dad: Who's that? Tifa: eh...No-one much Tifa pulls David away from her Dad before he starts to think something else of their joking. David: How come you're here aswell? Tifa: My Dad's a policeman and he's come and I had nothing to do so he took me with him David: You look very beautiful tonigh Tifa: Thanks. You look very different to what I saw you this morning. David: Good Or Bad? (joking) Tifa: Of course, better le:-P Zoe had come out of getting changed and was going back to the 'gang' Alec: That wasn't what you tried on this morning. Vicki: I heard that your ball-dress is 'sexy' Zoe: Who said that? Alec: Shy to wear it in front of us all? Zoe: I got permission of your mother to wear this haha So don't say anything bad about the decision. Or you'll be in trouble haha Alex: You look very nice in this though Zoe: I need to get changed again later for the performance though. it's too cold to wear it now Vicki: Yeh I'm freezing. Wish this dress had a sleeve or something. Alec takes off his coat/suite off and put it around Vicki so she could keep warm. Vicki: Thanks. You sure you'll be ok? Alec: Sure. I still have a shirt on. Better then you. I was getting a bit hot anyway. Alex: So many people are coming here. I'm so glad I don't have to perform like you guys do. |
