| hmm...i didnt really like this one for the first thing, it was too long the story was a little predictable, like the first time that the masked ninja was going around and stole that sword, it was totally obvious that it was that one girl (jen i think she was called?) and like all other ninja movies, its was just a thinly disguised love story, hidden behind some fighting (where conveniently people come at you one at a time in fights...) the action was supposed to be the good part of the movie, so i guess i expected a somewhat weak story line, but even the fighting, i dont know, i sort of expected some of it to at least resemble reality? all the anti-gravity fighting sort of turned me off plus i had to read everything that was spoken (i think now im just looking for things to dislike...oh well) at least there wasnt TOO much dialogue in the movie anyway people said that the ending was "not predictable" or "weird" or something, but i didnt think so i mean, it makes sense its alot like other ninja-style movies how the hero usually does the "noble" thing to prove they are brave or true or whatever, even if that means killing themself plus during that one like, half hour long flashback scene near the beginning, they told of that one ninja who jumped off the mountain to cure his sick parents or something i dont know, everything just seemed to happen exactly the way i expected i guess its nice to see an action movie with a female doing the "kicking" or whatever i dont know if you are just looking for a movie to watch that you dont necessarily have to think about, just to kill a few hours, maybe while playing a board game or something like that, this movie is fine but, apparantly SOME people liked it...let me know what you thought |
