| never even heard of this movie? neither had i until i just happened to read the back of the box while i was at hollywood video, and it sounded...well...different but i was glad i watched it, it was a great movie the plot is a little difficult to follow, and the main character seems to have an imaginary friend who is a man in a bunny suit? but trust me, at the end it will come together well, i mean, only the bunny suit thing actually, when i first watched it, at the end of the movie i was left with a feeling of "what the hell just happened" but i still also had the feeling of "wow that was great, i want to watch it again" i dont know how much i can even say about the movie without giving it away (actually, i could probably post a copy of the script and it wouldnt give it away...ha ha) but i definitely recommend seeing it it basically follows a piece of the life of this boy named donnie darko (i forgot the actor's name, but he was "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble" from the movie a year or so ago...) he apparently has some kind of "emotional problems" and is medicated for it you end up really able to identify with donnie, as it is really acted well it is a really good movie, you should go see it =) |
