Sista, oh my sista

I stand atop the mountain

Weep for the silenced fears

And shout into the darkness of those souls

I raise my arms and smile

At the moon

And her mystic aura

I AM ALIVE!! I shout

I could not lose sight of I love for you, I sistern.I recall times of happiness in our blessings, I smile knowing you are also learning and teaching, I sing with the memory of your voice, and I vision you with your beloved families.

In my dazed afternoons, you smiled gently.

I renewed my spirit as I saw you in plain clothes.

In those moments we shared, in the primal hours of our young family, I saw the rawest life spirit of woman.

I saw her in you.

I was suffering with a mental disorder, post traumatic stress syndrome, and my shell felt as if it had been stripped away.

Each day, I take small moments to recall who I am.
I find this task to be easierwhen I remember my sacred moments spent with you. Now, my essence shines upward and I begin to bloom.

The challenge of Mamahood leaves me exhausted and rediscovered.  I unearth new capabilities in my quest to be Mama.
Each night, as I put our children to sleep, my thoughts ramble in conversations with my sistas, and in lullabies for the children.

My heart is with you now! My dreams in night and day are of you and your children. Oh how they are our blessings!Children, so full of life unexperienced, on the verge of discovery, with exuberant curiosity and fantastical imagination.

A visioned dream of sharing knowledge and love for our families is realizing.

My efforts to connect with other mentors has brought me to : What about the Children? Foundation founder Claudette McTaggart

Her projects for this year, getting urban mothers educated and collaborating with WholEarthLearning!

Their foundations presence at Reggae Festivals and other community gatherings echoes the aim I aspire to with Whole Earth Learning Home Network

My focus is my family first and our childrens' and grandchildrens' future next.

I have put my writings out thereInklings

I am pursuing my writing career, formulating the school, grantwritimg, have several books started,5 completed childrens stories (needs illustration!) and several childrens' songs to record this Winter on Kaua'i.

I give thanks!

The love you have shown me is a rainbow touching many more lives!

I love you sister

Mama Heather

I reflect in words and in water, in my heart and in my eyes.I see my self in the sistas of the mountains.
