April 5, 2002 @ Showplace Theater, Buffalo NY. Victory Records Tour w/ Student Rick, Grade, Reach The Sky, Taking Back Sunday, Catch 22

I saw Taking Back Sunday and Catch 22 tonite. I got there around 7 and Taking Back Sunday was already playing. I managed to squeeze my way to the front, right across the bar. They were so SO so good. The singer, Adam, was amazing...but he he kept falling. He was cool though. He came over to me a few times and let me sing in his mic. Not many other kids were singing along. Man, I love them. They were amazing. I took a bunch of pictures of them. I have been waiting awhile to see them and now I finally did! Then came Student Rick. They were pretty good. The bass player spit at me but he apologized which was cool. Reach The Sky was good. I liked 'em. Grade are poopy heads...well, at least their singer is...grrr... Stupid singer. He was singing then he comes right in front of me and looks right at me. Then he spits on me. The Grade singer looks like Joey from Nsync. Swear to god. He came out and I seriously thought it was him. It scared me for a second. Catch 22 was cool but deadly. I was punched in the eye, head, and mouth. Some kid also kept jumping on my ankles which hurt soooo bad. The heavy bar thing hurt a lot being pushed into it. The crowd was so crazy, they pushed the barricade thing all the way to the stage. It hurt a lot. The ceiling also kept falling on the stage in little pieces. Then Mark from Taking Back Sunday came out and sang along to one of Catch 22's songs. You're not supposed to stage dive there but Adam and Mark did. Haha. I think Mark was in the pit too. So, they were done and the started to get ready to leave then everyone was chanting "Catch 22" so they put their stuff back and played 2 more songs. It ended around 12 or so. When the show was over, I went in search for TBS but could not find them. I bought a Taking Back Sunday shirt which is really cool. It says "Learn To Fight" and the merch guy, Floyd was really really nice and helped me out a lot because I am dumb. I had a very fun time.
