Joshua Daniel Hartnett, was born in July 21st, 1978, in St. Paul,MN (some believe he was born in San Francisco, CA). During his school years, he used to be part of the football team, until an injury made him quit. So he went into acting. His first gig was a Northwester Airlines commercial.
Later on, he got the role of Fitz in the TV series "Cracker". Then came the movies. He worked with scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis and "Dawson's Creek" actress Michelle Williams on "Halloween: H20". After getting noticed, he snagged the role as bad-boy Zeke on "The Faculty", working with Elijah Wood and "The Fast and the Furious" Jordan Brewster...which I'm proud to say is daughter of a Brazilian model (and speaks good Portuguese..I'm Brazilian!!).
Then came others such as "The Virgin Suicides" with Kirsten Dunst, "Here On Earth" with Chris Klein and Leelee Sobieski, "Blow Dry" with Rachel Leigh Cook, the controversial "O", with Julia Stiles, and finally the most awaited "Pearl Harbor" starring great names such as Ben Affleck, Alec Baldwin, Jon Voight, Cuba Gooding Jr., Kate Beckinsale, and model-turned-actress and upcomer James King. Josh has two new movies coming out: "40 Days and 40 Nights" and "Black Hawk Down". Rumors say that he had already been with Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen, actress Monet Mazur (from "40 Days..."), and "Coyote Ugly" Polish actress Izabella Miko. Currently I've heard that he's with actress Estella Warren*.
