This is a tribute to my "famous father-in-law", Blondie Calderon.  I hope these pictures bring you a smile as you remember the good times, because he sure knew how to have a good time. I know I miss him every day, I can only imagine what his family feels like. He was more than just my father-in-law, he was my friend.  We shared many funny jokes, a few not so funny ones, many good meals, lots of great wine, some interesting stories, and countless good discussions over a cup of coffee. I truly miss him. My greatest regret is that my son will never get to meet his "famous Grandpa".
I've never spoken publicly at a funeral before, but I knew I wanted to get up to address the crowd at Blondie's funeral. I knew it the minute I heard he had passed. And I will never forget the emotion I felt getting up to talk about him to all that came to reflect and remember his life.
