I seriously began my pagan walk 10 years ago when I met my ex-hubby. He was Pagan & I was Catholic. I found more similarities than differences. We even had our own public access show called the Star & the Cross (We had 15 shows) I moved out to Colorado with him from Virginia. So much has happned since then. Since the last DF I have really earned my Priestess wings, I did a handfasting of my 2 friends Thor & Cece, (I will be performing their wedding later this year with Christine who I did the handfasting with), I was one of the HPS that did the Drawing Down at DF, Quan Yin came through..., and was the HPS for the Witches Ball Samhain Ritual, with aproximately 300 people in attendance. During the winter solstice of 2001 the Gods told me to get ready, they had plans for me...I am their servant. I do not feel that I belong to any one organization or group... I belong to all Pagans in Colorado, & those who go to DF. I do not belong to myself, I belong to the Gods, who in their collective form, I call Shehe. Now don't jump to conclusions over the wording back there... let me explain what that means... It means that I do not see the lines in the Pagan community that others would see. To me, I fought for everyone's right when I got involved with WRAPP, because I saw what it was going to do to all of us, us being the entire pagan community. Even if I do not know who you are in the Pagan community, you could contact me and I would do anything I could to help you. To me you are my family, my kin. I feel a personal sense of responsibility to every new pagan that I come across who is attending a public pagan function for the first time, to help them feel accepted and welcome. I think that it's important to every new person's spiritual path to make connections with others, so I will take it upon myself to make sure that they know about groups they can get involved with, email lists, and public functions like Pagan Night Out (every 13th of the month at Las Marageritas) & OFM. I am friends with people who can't stand each other. I love them all, no matter their differences with one another. I want to see each organization and person succeed. The world and our community is big enough for everyone, it's simply the way I see things. Like the Gods, I love you no matter what your spiritual differences are. I hope this helps to make more sense about where I am coming from. Who's High Preistess am I, easy, whomever call upon me, whomever the Gods bring me to and with.
