Manea Reiki Master
	All three levels of Reiki have been gifted to me by Reiki Masters. All three were very different. There was also lots of time between each of the attunments I recieved. I think there is alot to be said for taking your time with the Process of learning Reiki and using it. Reiki is an Oriental Energy Healing Art. Art, not Science, in my opinion. There are many different tradions or Schools of thought with Reiki now. I will put some links in here with some of the history of reiki and different schools/traditions. Many people get Reiki by paying for the classes or attunements. I do not agree with this school of thought. Also there are those that give the attunements all at once or too close together in time, not giving the student the experience in my opinion, that is neccessary to understand the energy they become attuned to. My only real requirements to learn Reiki is reading the Book Called Hands of Light, by Barbra Brennan and Essential Reiki by Diane Stein. I respect her the most out of any other Healing teacher in the industry. Her book can be found in any major bookstore. Level One- Is an attunement to Channel Reiki subconsciously. Reiki is like medicine that is given to a patient. You do not need to tell medicine how to do it's job, it is a part of it's own make-up. It's nature is to heal. The basic hand positions are also learned at this level. Level Two- This attunement helps the Reiki practioner to attune to names frequencies and allow the practioner to do Reiki from a distance. Also the practioner learns a new hand position at the base of the skull. The practioner must learn to clear their mind during this process so as not to "download" their thoughts into the patient. The paractioner also learns the Reiki symbols and their meanings and how to draw them. Level Three- Master- This is the final attunement. Not everyone neccessarily wants to be a Master, nor the responsibility that comes with it. This Level of attuement allows the Master to altar another human beings energy body. (that is not something to be done lightly or without regard to the consequences)The Master needs discernment and a healthy base of human raport and understanding. Being a Master also grants the mantle of a teacher and the responsibility of teaching is not for everyone. Emotional balance, an intimate understanding of how energy works, as well as inner openness to the Divine is essential to being a Master in my opinion as a Reiki Master. For my students an there is an apprenticeship of no less than 1 year for becoming a Reiki Master.
