The Adventures of Umberto

     The adventure begins in the humble home of Umberto Unity.He lived in Walla Walla and lived a very normal life. Umberto had a family of four little banjo playing frogs and a wife that was a cow. He held a job as the official banjo player for the local prison. Umberto's life was nothing extraordinary and that was what the people of Walla Walla liked. They enjoyed having a routine and nothing extravagant. They all had families and jobs and then died. Umberto went along with the system because it was easy and reassuring. Once you got a job in Walla Walla you could not lose it. Everyone received the same salary if you worked your hardest, but if you did not work hard you were killed. The rules of Walla Walla were straight forward and the life was simple and easy. Walla Walla was just a no stress kind of place.

     Umberto was accustomed to this basic lifestyle and never complained. He never knew of any other way, which made this lifestyle seem like the best there was. This all changed one morning when he came across the first new person ever moved into Walla Walla.

     One morning Umberto was going about his morning routine and picking up his groceries for the day. He did not need a list because they were the same items he had bought yesterday, the day before and everyday since he started his family. When he was on his way he ran into this new-comer. Her name was Ms. Hanna Bob. Umberto did not get to meet her yet being that it was not apart of his routine, but now the meeting was inevitable because Umberto saw her approaching him in the corner of his eye. She came up to him and she said, "Hey big boy how's it goin?"

     Umberto timidly replied,"Umm, are you talking to me?"

     "Let's get to the point, Umberto..."

     "How did you know my name?"

     "Fine, if you want to go about this the long way I will explain myself. I am Ishmael, the all powerful parrot, a.k.a. Hanna Bob. I have come to this small pathet...I mean fantastic town to send someone to a far away land filled with excitement and adventure. You will live by your wits and do as you please. It is a mystical land that your wildest imagination could never fathom. Now tell me, would you like to go. And if I do say so myself I would strongly suggest going."
