OK, another page. this one will contain pictures from my stay in Thailand. I will leave them on for a week or so and then update them as time goes by. I had my first stint of sunbathing today. Not being used to sunshine (English you see) I decided to limit myself to a maximum of one and a half hours. Still too long, I am now "lobstered". Sun block would have helped but I didn't have any. It reminded me of a family holiday in France when my friend Andy challenged the sun to do its worst, "Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough you big yellow bast*rd!!"

Here's what I was looking at this morning. I had my breakfast and went for a sunbathe, with sun block on this time! I was lying under the palm trees in the breeze, lovely. I may go back in a bit for a top up. |

This is me sitting inside a huge tyre. It was off some huge quarrying machine, supposedly the biggest tyre in the world. It's one of the exhibits at Ripleys Believe It Or Not a sort of curiosity museum in Pattaya. |
