I recently got my military surplus Crosley engine up and running. I built the stand out of ash 2 x 4's and used circular motor mounts from NAPA. This 1952 cast iron block engine is from a military generator. It uses a crank start ignition with a WICO magneto. It is fed gas by a Carter W-O carb. The block and some other parts are painted military olive drab. The engine has a plate on it from the Crosley Corp. that gives the serial number and describes the engine's fluid capacities.
