Brave Kosovo Teen Standing Tall and Proud on New Legs
Ibadete Thaqi was maimed last year when she picked up a water bucket that was booby-trapped with a land mine, losing one leg above the knee and the other below. Now she is taking her first steps on prosthetic legs in a New York Hospital.
