Karan Hussain Museum of Art, Culture & Sciences

 

  • Ibn Sina Academy is presently engaged to give a final shape to this Museum named after the famous physician of Tijara (Alwar / India), the artifacts of which are somewhat disorganized at present.

  • The Museum currently has a large collection of Coins, Postal Stamps, Paintings, Utensils, Photographs, Sculptures, Busts, Pens (Old & New), and Memoirs & Relics of some prominent personalities. Construction work is going on for the building of the Museum at Aligarh.

         Following items in the following categories are particularly of general interest:

    • Oriental Calligraphy of Medieval Ages

    • Faramins

    • Wasliyan

    • Painting: Ghalib, Sir Syed, Iqbal, Zakir Hussain, Hakim Ajmal Khan, Shifaul Mulk Hakim Abdul Latif, Hakim Syed karam Hussain, Maulane Mohd Ali, Sarojini Naidu, etc.

    • Photographs: Ibn Sina, Ghalib, Sir Syed, Iqbal, Tipu Sultan, Group photographs of Hakim Ajmal Khan, Aligarh Muslim University Dignitaries, University Conventions & Other Historical Photographs.

    • Sculptures: Ibn Sina and other Traditional Ethno-Cultural Persona

    • Busts: Hippocrates, Archimedies, Artemis, Ibn Sina, etc.

    • Memoirs & Relics: Of prominent personalities.

    • Stones: Many of them are derived from field excavations like Fatehpur Sikri Excavations in Agra (India)

    • Pens: Pen of different brands and ages like Cross, Mont blanc, Sheffer, Parker, Waterman, Pierre Dumont,  etc.

    • Coins: Since the ages of Alexandra the Great (400 BC)

    • Postal Stamps: Old and New

    • Utensils & Other Useable Items: Crockery, Paandan, Itrdaan, Qalam daan, Khwas daan, Cutlery Sets, Huqqa, Rakabdaan.

    • Garments: Of ladies, gents and children used during British Period and of 19th & 20th century.
