| Panthers Let Lead Slip Away The Panthers were leading the Icerats for most of the game on Sunday night, but lost the lead and the game, 5-3, with just 2 minutes to go in the third period. It was a very tight game. Gary scored from the point to give the Panthers their first goal. Joe Newhart added a short-handed goal and another goal was scored by Damon Radginski. The final two minutes are something the Panthers would take back. With just two mintues to go, the Rats tied it up, then with under one minute, they took the lead and added an empty netter to capture a win. On Saturday, the Panthers look to get back on the winning track as they face the Fighting Pike at 10:15 PM. Let's go Panthers! ____________________________________________________________ |
