ABOUT ME
BIO

I was born in Utah at a very young age...

I grew up in Massachusetts, my father was in the Coast Guard, and, given the limited coast in need of guarding in Utah the government chose to send him to his second choice assignment. (West coast...hmm, my mom's family was on the east coast, makes sense, I guess.) After a couple of years they sent us east, and the rest is history, histerical, yeah, whatever...

Our family moved back to Utah and I attended all of the schools listed below, lived in Germany for a while, Spent a few years in the Air Force flying B-52s, a brief stint traveling the country in a rock band, a little time translating computer training programs into various languages, taught ESL at the ELI at the U of U, and then...realized I had to get into teaching.

I have two children, sort of, (I made the mistake of feeding them and they grew up.) A wife, Tess, and am currently caretaker to my son's dog. In my spare time I read, (a lot) and am working on my Ph.D. in Educational Technology.

When one person teaches, two people learn.
