Poetically, I lean more toward the sadder genres & a bit about love, although I do try to balance them with happier writes. Since I could pick up a pencil, I have been turning to paper to help me release the feelings that sometimes can't be put into words in my art, and at other times are misunderstood by people outside of myself.
