About Me

Well, I guess this is the part where I'm suppose to tell you more about me. I really don't know what to say. I guess I'll go over the basics first. I am 20 years old and an a junior at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). I am majoring in Business Administration.

When I have free time I like to listen to my walkman. Call me a dork or whatever but I like to sit out in the swing and listen to my walkman outside. I use that time to dream about the future and reflect on my past as well as what's going on in my life in the present. Since I live at home and have those NORMAL stresses of being in college and living at home, my walkman acts as a great ESCAPE. I can just put on my headphones, sit outside away from everybody and go into my own world.

Speaking of my walkman, let me say something about MUSIC. Music is so important in my life. I don't sing and I can't play any intrument but I love to listen to music. I like anything with a good melody? Is that general enough? If its Classic, Rock, POP, R&B, Country, or the Oldies, if it has a good melody I'll listen to it. I can sit outside and listen to my music ALL DAY LONG and I have before.

Another thing I like to do is go to the movies. I like all kinds of movies. I'll watch anything from drama, romantic comedies, comedies, adventures, and horror. In my movie collection I have everything from STEPMOM to THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARRY to STAR TREK. I'm a huge fan of Julia Roberts! My favorite movie is WHITE SQUAL. I tend to favor coming of age dramas like STAND BY ME and WHITE SQUAL. Which reminds me of a story...

When I was in the second grade, my best friend, TIm, had a sleep over. I went and they had rented two or three movies. I don't remember the other titles BUT I do remember he had STAND BY ME. It was the first time I saw the movie and it was GREAT. Over the course of that night we watched that movie 3-5 times THAT NIGHT. I don't remember when we started watching movies but we watch it 5 times as well as the other two at least once each. It was awesome. I bought the movie a few years ago and still have it. I still love to watch that movie.

Other things I like to do are simple stuff like go to the mall, playing putt-putt, going bowling (which I haven't done since PE in high school). I also like to take road trips. My favorite places are New York City and Orlando, Florida. You can see my pictures from my trip to Florida in '99 and my trip to Myrtle Beach this past summer in the picture gallery.

Well, I'm not sure what else to say about myself. I'll come back and add stuff like my views on particular issues like DRINKING, SMOKING POT and doing drugs, and other sorts of things. I know that alot of what I've said is reiterated on other pages but I hope I've given some infor about myself that you find interesting. Hopefully you leave with positive feelings and opinions about me and what I'm about. I think the ISSUES page will be VERY helpful in learning about me and what I REALLY think about things.
