SATURDAY
Our flight was great.
British Airways treats all passengers like first class.
We had drinks before we even took off.
Slippers, eye covers for sleeping, blankets, pillows,
toothbrush…I can’t remember it all.
And if we drank alcohol we would have had that free too.
It was amazing. And we
had two full meals. One was a
three course full dinner. And
we had tons of snacks. We
each had our own seat back tv where we could choose from 12 channels.
I only watched two movies but I could have seen more with the time
we were in the air. I saw the
Patriot and I can’t remember the other one.
When
we landed we had no problems in customs.
We took a bus to our hotel. The
traffic was something else. Worse
than LA freeways. Our hotel
was supposed to be a two star. It
was nice but the bathrooms were awful.
Thankfully we were only in the room to sleep.
The staff was great thank goodness.
That
afternoon we went around town and picked up our tickets for the shows.
We got great seats for all three.
After that we went back to the hotel and slept.
We woke up around 1:00 and couldn’t sleep anymore so we watched a
movie. Then
we got a little more sleep and tried to go to church but couldn’t find
it.
The "tube" station where we picked up the
train everyday.
