WEDNESDAY
This
morning we went to the British Museum.
They have the neatest ancient Egyptian display.
The Rosetta stone is there. That
was really neat to see. Luckily
they had wheelchairs to use so I didn’t get as tired as early that day.
We didn’t have to go back to the hotel until later.
After that we went on a behind the scenes tour of the Palladium
where “the Kind and I” is playing.
We even got to go up on stage!
We couldn’t take many pictures there because of the sets.
They are really picky about pics being taken of the sets.
But we did get a couple of the theater from the view of the stage.
It is enormous! I would post all of the pics we took but that
would probably take up a dozen pages. So I have chosen a few of my
favorites.
That night was our last play.
“Whistle Down the Wind”. It
was so neat. They had a double decker stage for this one.
It started with the top part down and then during the overture it
went up. They had at some
points people doing things on both parts. Again we went to the stage door but this time the actors
cooperated. We got nearly
everyone. One of the guys was
actually going after the other actors to make sure they signed.
It was really neat. We
went home so happy. To see those
pics go Whistle Pics - Day Five part Two
