LIGHTHOUSES......

For some odd reason, they have always been mystical and alluring to me. They captivate me and set my mind spinning just wondering how many long and lonely nights they've guided men and ships across the waves and to safe harbors.  I love the sounds of the waves crashing on the shores and I think I would just be in "heaven" if I could be a "lighthouse keeper"

The lighthouses of North Carolina are pictured here because that's my homestate and I am proud of them, but there is one that's from St. Augustine, Florida, that I guess I would have to say is my "favorite" and that's only because I've actually walked every step all the way to the top of her and walked all the way around the top and looked as far as my eyes could see........It was BREATHTAKING!!
