He worked hard and worked even harder to help support himself and his mother after his father's death. Not having the money to attend college, he took several odd jobs before his cousin Buck convinced him to go into wrestling training. In his rookie year, he took the name "Brooklyn Boomer," and later Prince Boomer, under which he held a brief undefeated streak that was broken by T-Money. Though mostly a singles wrestler, Boomer teams on occasion with Buck Wyld and his friend Willie D. Boomer is respected in the ring for his hardcore, high-flying combinations, and "never say die" work ethic. Outside the ring, however, he is loved by fans and hated by his opponents for his often playful and sarcastic attitude. |
