Through my research into mermaids I came across a wonderful artist Rodd Umlauf.
Rodd lives in Wisconsin's beautiful northwoods near some of the countries best musky fishing. Rodd studied art at North Western College at St Paul, Minnesota in the early 1980's.
His favourite subject matter for his oil paintings is Wisconsin game fish with an emphasis on muskies. He is best known for his cover work for Musky Hunter Magazine. Rodd has also recevied recognition for winning the Winsconsin Trout Stamp contest for the 2001 season.
Several signatures were requested by Rodd for the lady who models as his mermaid and they can be seen on the mermaid page the others are for Rodd himself and are made from tubes created out of Rodds own paintings.
