Who
I Am I am a native Californian, and I've lived in the Bay Area most of my lfe. My mother and younger sister live close-by, while my father is fulfilling his lifelong dream by building a home in Oregon. I love my work and find it immensely rewarding. I have a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. In my work as a Geriatric Social Worker, I help frail, poor, elderly clients maintain their independence at home. Friends
describe me as kind, empathetic, happy, independent, and playful with
a good sense of humor. I plan to stay at home with my child for the first
three months. After that time, I hope to be able to work at home part
of the time. I live with my very affectionate cat, Georgia. Georgia adopted me as she was living on the streets in my old San Francisco neighborhood.
My
Interests
In my free time, I love being physically active. I take long bike rides, hike, go on runs, and swim. Traveling is a passion. I have enjoyed bicycling trips to Bolivia, Canada, Cuba, and France. I find bicycle touring to be a wonderful way of immersing myself in other cultures.
I am excited to share the world and it's many different cultures with my child. My
Home
I look forward to sharing the natural beauty of the San Francisco Bay Area with my child. My
Friends
My child's life will be laced with love and full of stimulating educational experiences. I believe in fostering a child's independence, enthusiam, ingenuity and self-esteem. I will respect and nurture my child's individuality. Sharing my life with a child will be a dream come true. Open Adoption![]()
