The Ishi Family and Mrs. Wang Visit the USA

In 1994, ICUG took its International Computer Training Program to China. Our own, Dr. Chin-Hua Wang arranged the 7 City Trip to China where our Program was presented to University Professors, Businessmen and Government Representatives. It was well received by all and the Trip was a success! In route to China the first stop along the way was Japan, where the Ishi Family played Host and provided accommodations at their Home ~ While in Shanghai we were welcomed as Guests and stayed in the Wang Family Home. Here in June 2000, The Ishi Family from Japan and Mrs. Wang from Shanghai visited us here in Washington, DC, and allow us to play Hosts and return their gracious hospitality.

Left, the spectacular Dome of the Shrine can be seen in the background ~ The Shrine is just blocks away from our house, and it is one of the sights that tourists come to visit when in Washington, DC ~ It is a work of architectural beauty, built by old worlds craftsmen. We purchased the video of it's construction.

Bianca Floyd and Daughter Afrika join Our ICUG Household ~ October 1999

From the Offices of US News & World Report, and then as a integral and talented Member of ICUG since 1991 and the early days of personal computers and telecommunications, Bianca Floyd, Author, Journalist and International Traveler who has graced Senegal shores in Africa twice, moved into our Home to live and work on the ICUG Program while saving for the House of Her Dreams. I cannot say enough

about Bianca's dynamic professional skills, dedication and love of people. That is why, I am indeed proud to call her my Colleague and much more than that, I call her My Sister!

Bianca and Afrika, spending Quality Time Together. Devoted Mother and Loving Daughter ~ Balancing an advancing and successful Career with raising a Princess takes talent, and that what Bianca has!

Taking a relaxing moment

Here's to the Cookout gatherings in the backyard where we all enjoy favorite dishes, charcoal for the grill, music, swimming, time to just talk, laugh and relax and share ~ making the best of memories! And let us not forget the magic of Sunday evenings and trips to Dairy Queen for Ice Cream!

Pamela Jordan Arrives from Sacramento, California to brighten Our Holiday Household

Pamela is a native Washingtonian, who has spent the last seven years living and working in California. As Pam often says "She can look out of her window at home and see a majestic mountain!"

Pam is no stranger to Programs, as she grew up in a Home where her Parents were involved in Community Service Programs, Education, Church and Politics. Pam not only added to the Family claim by working in Programs and Political Circles, but developed her own Dynamic Style, charm and personal presence.

Here sitting at my kitchen table, she shares a Smile! Pam was so impressed with the ICUG Program and Poster Series, that she flew back to join the ICUG Circle, add her energies and upgrade her computer skills

Pam's favorite is the Bill Pickett Poster from the ICUG Native American Indian Heritage Series
