The Moffatts new single "Bang Bang Boom" shot up
to number 1 on the Canadian Soundscan charts and fans are eagerly
awaiting the group's new album.
Unfortunately for Moffatts fans, the release date for "Submodalities,"
the group's upcoming album has been delayed until Tuesday,
October 3.
Until then, fans can satisfy their Moffatts craving with the
"Bang Bang Boom" CD single that features 2 live tracks
- "All The Answers" and ";Two Beats" which
won't be included on "Submodalities".
According to Bob Moffatt, who spoke with AllPop in July, fans can
expect a more mature sound on "Submodalities".
"Submobalities" means anything to do with the visual
change of image...we thought it summed up the whole record and
what we're all about," Bob said. "We've gone to more of
an edgy, mature sound. I think our first record was pretty bubble-gum.
It was strictly pop on the last record. This one has more guitars
and I guess our voices have matured I think it could cross over
to rock radio. I think our fans will see a big difference and
everything on the record."
