Director of Dining Services, WA
"We are a national food service management company.  Our Hospital and Residential Dining Division is dedicated to meeting the complete nutritional needs of patients, staff, and visitors.  We currently have an opening for a R.D./Director of Dining Services at Forks Community Hospital in Washington state.  The
job is 40% clinical and 60% management. Forks is a 50 bed  community hospital with 16 acute care beds 34 long-term care  beds.  The hospital is about 57 miles from Port Angeles, very near  Olympic National Park.  There would be in-patient and out-patient  clinical work as well as community outreach.  This is a terrific  learning opportunity for someone just starting a career. Bannock Regional Medical Center has two openings.
1.  Assistant Director of Nutrition Services (fulltime). 
Responsible for the food production, catering and cafeteria operation.  Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively with employees,
clients, and support staff.  Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree plus 2-4 years management experience in restaurant or institutional food service setting, or equivalent of Associates degree plus 6 years management
experience, or 8-10 years restaurant management experience. 


2.  Clinical Dietitian (occasional to part-time). 
Responsible for the screening, assessment, and  development of intervention plans for hospital patients and or Long Term Care residents.  Average about 12-20 hours per week.  Qualifications:  Registered Dietitian with current Idaho license.

The Valley Women's Resource Center WIC Program has an opening for a
full-time R.D. or R.D.E.
The position is located in the beautiful Matanuska-Susitna valley of Alaska.  Wasilla is a sweet, residential neighborhood that is only a 40-mile drive from Anchorage.  Our WIC Program is open Monday through Thursday so our staff has 3-day weekends all year long.  Free time can be used to see Alaska.  For example, Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Prince William Sound are all accessible by road. Flightseeing, hiking, camping, fishing, and national reserves are available right here in Wasilla.

The Valley Women's Resource Center WIC Program is in the early stages of  re-invention. We are looking for forward-thinking, creative team members  with a sense of adventure and the desire to improve services offered to our WIC families. We would like an R.D./R.D.E. who is comfortable in front of a  computer since our WIC Program uses paperless charting and plans to expand  to the use of the internet for nutrition education. The R.D./R.D.E. will assist with outreach, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion, training of  nutrition paraprofessionals, and program planning.

The starting salary is $38,000 plus benefits and a generous vacation policy.
