| Ice Cream Sandwiches ~Shared by: Sharky~ 1 (18.5 ounce) package chocolate cake mix 1 quart mint chocolate chip ice cream, softened Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a cookie sheet. Mix cake mix according to package directions, OMITTING the eggs. Drop by large spoonfuls onto cookie sheet; mixture should be about the consistency of brownie batter. Bake 15 minutes in preheated oven or until cookies spring back when touched lightly in center. Cool completely. Put a scoop of softened ice cream in the center of cookie. Top with a similary-sized cookie, wrap in plastic wrap and gently press down to flatten out ice cream scoop. Freeze until serving. Make 6 sandwiches. ===================================================================================== ROLO Turtles 1 package ROLO chocolate/carmel candy unwrapped 1 Package Pecan Halves 1 Package Pretzels (small or waffle) Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Place pretzels on to a cookie sheet. Top each pretzel with a ROLO. Bake in a 250 degree oven for 4 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately press one pecan half onto each ROLO. Remove from cookie sheet and let cool in the refrigerator for 5 minutes. ===================================================================================== |
