OLIVIA TRIVIA:
Q:Two of Olivia's early U.S.hits became Top 10 classics but failed to chart in England. Which ones were they?
A:"Let Me Be There," and "If You Love Me(Let Me Know)"
"Grease"The Soundtrack album-released in 1978 on RSO. Re-relased in the 1990s on Polydor after the demise of RSO.
Record producer Robert Stigwood known for churning out hits by The Bee Gees,Andy Gibb and Eric Clapton founded RSO Records in 1974,first distributed by Atlantic and later becoming part of the PolyGram family of labels. After his success of producing "Tommy" and "Saturday Night Fever" Stigwood went full tilt with co-producer Alan Carr once again recruting a still young Travolta (after his SNF success) and the long-anticipated emergence of Olivia on the big screen I saw this film at least ten(if not twenty!) times when it was first released in that summer of '78. I met my wife a year later, told her about it and she thought I was nuts! She still thinks I have a few loose screws after being married for twenty years!!!
Get out your blue suede shoes folks...this movie STILL rocks twenty years later!
45 RPM singles

In addition a benefit LP was released by Polydor in 1979. "The Concert For UNICEF." Olivia sang "The Key."

Olivia in the leather jacket once again, she finally gets to shed her "nice girl" image (ala "Sandy 2") in this LP release.
Good driving Bob Seger styled beat mixed in ("A Little More Love " and "Deeper Than The Night")with the mellow Olivia we all know and love.("Dancing Round And Round")
Music videos were made of both hit songs although MTV hasn't yet come into being!
Na no Na no...SHAZBOT!
