The first 'half' are An Comisiun Schools. These are schools that teach irish dancing as you can see it in the major shows and who are recognised by the biggest governing body of irish dancing world wide An Comisiun!
The second half are schools who are either not registered (or recognised) with any governing body or who do not teach irish dancing as most people know it. Their style is generally very different from the style you can see in the major shows.
We've listed courses who are given by none irish dancers and small courses in the section workshops. Please notice: we are not responsible for the quality of the classes mentioned in this section. We do NOT garantee this is real irish dancing and as said before most of these classes are taught by people who think they can do irish dancing and who try to imitate the major shows!
