Robert ALEXANDER had the following children:

2 i. Elizabeth Erskine² ALEXANDER was born circa 1842. Elizabeth died 3 April 1906 in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, at 63 years of age. She married Francis JOHNSTONE in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, 6 September 1859. Francis was born in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl 16 August 1837. Francis was the son of Thomas ("Whinfield" and "Glenfield") JOHNSTONE and Eleanor GLENFIELD. Francis died 18 January 1901 in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, at 63 years of age. He was christened in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, 12 October 1837. He was the executor of Robert JOHNSTONE's estate in Belfast, Nth Irl, and granted 10 July 1895. 3 ii. Charlotte Hester ALEXANDER was born circa 1852. Charlotte died 28 February 1932 in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, at 79 years of age. She married William PORTER 1882. William was born in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl 2 May 1855. William was the son of William PORTER and Elizabeth (Eliza) Jane JOHNSTONE. William died 29 January 1919 in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, at 63 years of age. He was christened in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, 10 May 1855. (See William PORTER for the continuation of this line.)
