2. Robert² THOMPSON (Robert¹) was born in Walton, nr Belfast Nth Irl 1855.

He married Charlotte Seeds GLENFIELD in Belfast, Nth Irl, 10 September 1878. Charlotte was the daughter of Francis GLENFIELD and Eleanor SEEDS.

Robert THOMPSON and Charlotte Seeds GLENFIELD had the following children:

3 i. Wilhelmena Seeds (Ena)³ THOMPSON was born in Belfast, Nth Irl 25 January 1880. Wilhelmena died 1975 in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, at 95 years of age. She married Capt Thomas Johnstone BARKLEY in Belfast, Nth Irl, circa September 1902. Thomas was born in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl 1873. Thomas was the son of Capt Matthew BARKLEY and Eleanor JOHNSTONE. Thomas died 1951 in Carrickfergus, Nth Irl, at 78 years of age. (See Capt Thomas Johnstone BARKLEY for the continuation of this line.)

4 ii. Robert Quartus (Bertie) THOMPSON was born in Belfast, Nth Irl 14 May 1884. Robert died went missing.
