2. John² PORTER (John¹).

He married Agnes CROOKS circa 1792. Agnes was born circa 1760. Agnes was the daughter of Andrew CROOKS and ?? ??. Agnes died 23 or 28 September 1844 at 84 years of age.

John PORTER and Agnes CROOKS had the following children:

4 i. James Wilson³ PORTER.

5 ii. John PORTER.

6 iii. Robert Dalway McGowan PORTER.

7 iv. Martha PORTER.

8 v. Female PORTER. Female died as a child.

+ 9 vi. William "Hawthorne Villa" PORTER was born 13 February 1793.
