| The GTO was first built in 1964 running a 389cid it is consider to be father of the Musclecars and 1967 it got a 400cid engine and started to grow in size but is was still consider the King of the streets. |
| Now this is the way I remember the GTO,running a 400cid bigblock,4/speed a real mans car,so the brakes were so-so and handling was ok,it was in the 1/4mile where this baby shine and back in the 60's that whats counted. |

| But the GTO went the same way as the rest of the Musclecars,killed off because of high insurance,high gas prices and detuned for emissions,but we still had are ponycars.BUT in 2004 the GTO will return,but will it live upto it's name. |

| And here it is the 2004 Pontiac GTO,Built in Australia and called a Monaro it will be imported to the US,running a 346cid LS1 and a 6/speed ,but this baby can handle,stop, run with most of the older GTO's,this is a modern iteration of legendry GTO. |
