Adopt-A-Grandparent
"Adopt a grandparent is a great way to make a difference in the lives of the elderly.  So many of the people living in nursing homes are very lonely and have no family.  They very rarely have any visitors or have the pleasure of talking with close family or friends.  Thats where we come in!  You do not necissarily have to "Adopt A Grandparent" to take part in this volunteer program.  Simply being there and talking with the elderly is what makes all the difference.  You will find that being part of this group will be a very rewarding experience.  Singing, playing bingo, and celebrating monthly birthdays with those living in the nursing home are just a few of the activities we become involved in.  If you come away with anything from this program, it will mostlikely be a smile and many happy memories!"
