Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas from our house to yours. As usual, I am putting a website together . Kurt (9). Briana (6), Gabriel (1), Raphael (1), Lucie (4), Scott (11) are sitting in front of our large fireplace. We are still in Wisconsin and have been enjoying 30 inches of snow (in December) so far. My shoulder hurts, the neck has trigger points and my facets are inflammed - this is pain doctor speak for being old, out of shape and shoveling a lot of snow in the bitter cold. We already had minus 22 Fahrenheit, with the windchill it was around minus 45. Brrrrr! Our newest additions, Gabriel and Raphael arrived in October from Guatemala. They are too cute for words and have adapted very well. They have not met a food they didn't like, they love cars and are quite active and happy. Scott and Kurt love their little brothers, especially Kurt is so excited to carry them or play with them. Lucie is not been that impressed with them and usually refers to the new rivals as "boys". Briana has informed me that she had gotten siblings of the wrong gender, she expected twin GIRLS! We were able to see Mickey at Disney World in Florida for an evening in November, when Ines attended several meetings in FL to get her CME's. It was a great trip, though staying in a hotel room with 6 children was less than desirable. Scott is 11 years old, loves his dogs Leah and Stitch and is now the proud owner of a video I-pod. Kurt, age 9 is still into Batman and Spiderman, while Briana (6) wants to be wonder women. Lucie (4) wanted a new baby doll for Christmas, however after she figured out that her new baby talks and cries, she put her on the couch and and told her to be quiet. Lucie is not very impressed with the doll as it cries and wants some motherly attention....:-) Brian is very busy staying at home and homeschooling the kids, while Ines still works at Gundersen as Pain Doctor, while moonlighting in Anesthesiology and attending Viterbo University to finish her MBA. I have uploaded several foto albums in my Picassa Gallery, also included, especially is for my friend Dan (who lives in GA and thinks that snow is nice for the holidays....:-) a few picture of yours truly with shorts and rifle in the snow! Click here to see Ines pictures! We wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year 2009! Brian and Ines |
