Keiko sighed as she flipped through the new magazines from the library. She stumbled across lots of different Japanese singers and groups like Flame, (Yusuke being her favorite) Gackt Camui, Boa, Ayumi Hamasaki, and Utada Hikaru. She quietly sung the rhythm from one of her favorite songs. She was getting quite bored from all the magazines she had looked through. Maybe 7 counting this one. She was scanning the pages with her eyes, just very roughly. She came across a band she had never heard of before, named W-inds. She looked at the male right in the middle of the picture, who looked like..-- 'no it can't be him,' she thought. She rubbed her eyes but they weren't lying. She grasped the earring on her right ear. It had been one year since... Her close friend-more-like-brother, Rai, snatched the magazine out of her hands. "How many magazines today, Keiko?" "Rai, give it back! I need that one!!" She tried to grab it back, but Rai was tall and Keiko was, well.. not so tall. She eventually gave up, and took her backpack and headed home.

Rai was following her, she could tell. He was so annoying sometimes. She spun around quickly, hoping to surprise him, but instead, bumped right into him! "Oof!" She fell to the ground, a bit dizzy. "Rai, you..--!" Rai chuckled. Noone knew about his secret crush on her. His family and hers were very close. He was more of a relative than a friend. He knew he would get rejected, and he wouldn't be good at dealing with the pain. He had already dealt with a lot from her. He had known her for a long time, and also liked her for a long time. She was always nice to everyone, and never could hold a temper against anyone. ' That's probably why Tachibana was attracted to her, just like me. ' he thought. Just thinking back to those times were painful for him.

"Keiko, i think I have feelings for you. I was too shy to tell you until now, but I think I really do. I'll give you my heart, if you're willing to receive it." Rai could remember it too clearly. Just like it was yesterday. He was 2 years older than Keiko, and was 16 at the time. He was in school and Tetsuwa sensai had let the class out early. He was leaning on the wall outside of Keiko's classroom, waiting for her to come out so he could walk home with her, like he did everyday. He overheard two voices talking. He recognized Keiko's voice and Tachibana's too. What was this?! He felt his heart stop beating. He knew Keiko had liked Tachibana for a while, but in his heart, he still hoped she would reject him. "Keita.." He heard silence. He was worried. He dashed into the classroom and saw Tachibana hug her. He knew he would never be able to hug her. He wanted to go over and punch him, kick him, kill him. But he knew if he did, Keiko would never talk to him again, or worse, she would go to his aid. He couldn't bear the thought. He stood staring. Keiko looked surprised when Tachibana had suddenly hugged her. He watched as her arms, which were at her side, slowly wrapped around his back. Her shock slowly changed into relaxation, and calmness. He knew she felt comfortable around him. He couldn't watch her accept him. He left and didn't bother to wait for her.

"Raiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ~~!!" Keiko yelled at him. He returned to the present. "Hurry uppp~" She smiled. He stared at her. Tachibana and her went out for quite a while and were even voted cutest couple. They were always complimented by everybody. 'Tachibana was not bad looking for a guy, he knew how to dance and sing pretty well.' he thought. How could Keiko resist him. Keiko came up to him. "Rai, is something wrong?" She was worried. 'He was fine a bit ago..' she thought. "Rai, RAI?! Are you mad at meeee?" "Oh, no Keiko, nothing's wrong " He continued walking towards Keiko's house. She quietly followed him. "I'm sorry Rai.. Is it because I bumped into you? I didnt mean to - " "Keiko, don't worry about me, nothings wrong. Really."
