chapter 4.
Keiko watched as the lights exploded on the stage. She sighed as she realized she was forced to watch. 'At least he can't see me..' she said out loud, but noone heard because of the loud music that was starting to play. She felt a slight pang in her heart as she listened to the oh-so familiar voice sing. She closed her eyes, but opened them, to see if he had changed. A bit of a more controlled hair style, and just a slight change in face features, but still, he was the same person. She recognized his very skinny body and his oval shaped face. She stared at him dance and sing so perfectly in rhythm with his group members. She had never seen him actually dance. He always had been too shy to sing or dance in front of her, but she had always known he was talented in these areas. Her mouth kind of gaped open as her previous tears dried on her cheeks. He looked so happy, smiling every so often, while female fans everywhere were screaming out his name.
Keita was exhausted. All throughout the concert, he had been thinking about her. He enjoyed the loud environment of a concert. Ryuichi came over to him. He nudged Keita a little. "Wow, must've been one heck of a girl --" "Yeahhh..." Ryohei added suddenly. He had appeared from nowhere and both Keita and Ryuichi were a bit surprised. "I wanna hear some more physical characteristics~ what did she look like exactly?" Ryohei asked curiously. It wasn't hard to describe Keiko, Keita thought. "Well, she was really cute, with short brownish hair and a small face. She had big, dark colored eyes..," he said, as he remembered the many times he had gazed into them. "She was a little short, but it didn't matter. She was just.. perfect in every way."
About 30 minutes later, Keita sat with his members at a long table, signing the fans' pictures. He always kept a smile on his face, and often looked up to see shocked fangirls staring down at him. He liked signing pictures, but he got sort of tired after a while. He could hear the excited shouts and screams of random fans. He glanced over at Ryohei, and watched as he scribbled his autograph on a picture, then hand it back to the hyper fan with a smile. The fan went almost crazy. He laughed and looked over at Ryuichi, who was signing also. Ryuichi was smooth~~ With just a slight entertained expression on, he would simply sign the paper, then give it back. "Keita-san!!" an excited fan called out. Surprised, Keita looked at the girl waiting for an autograph. "Ah, gomen-" he started to say, but was cut off. "No! no problem Keita-san!!" "Name " "Hitomi Sukito, Keita-san!" He started to laugh to himself. This girl said his name 24/7. He grinned warmly at the girl and said, "Domo arigatou for waiting Hitomi-san~" She jumped with joy and ran to her friends.
After about 23 more pictures, he was really getting quite tired. He signed with forced smiles but didn't look up at the fans anymore. He just asked their name, signed their picture, and gave it back. He tried to focus but his mind kept wandering off target. He was thinking about what Keiko would be doing right now, and he was startled as another picture of him got thrust in his face. "Oh, um, name?" Keita asked. "Keiko Akimoto." Keita thought he was hallucinating. "Ehh, what'd you say?" "I said, Keiko Akimoto." Keita quickly looked up to see a ... guy? The guy was smirking at him. "Did you think leaving her without saying goodbye was good for her, Tachibana?" Keita was shocked. "...It wasn't my intention.." "If you loved her, you wouldn't have made her go through so much pain." "Where is she now?" Keita asked eagerly.
